Santa Fe Century 2009
This would totally make my day, though I much prefer the DIY version.

The Santa Fe Century is this Sunday.

I have a fever right now, which sucks. I'm otherwise in great shape to do this ride. Hopefully it will pass by Sunday. If not, I'll still ride anyway. My goal is to finish in under 6 hours.

My son Wade will be riding in the SF Century. Maybe you'll ride together at some point.

Fantastic, I'll keep an eye out for him. He's not the only person I know riding, so I was already planning on being alert for familiar faces on the course.

I'll also be curious to know his experience of the ride, after he's done.

I had some acid reflux at the end of last night, and while I still have a scratchy throat this morning, it feels better than it did. I'm still hoping to be recovered by Sunday morning.

I've slept well the last two nights and plan to pull off the same trick tonight. The wind should be better than it was last year on the course, so my only complaint will be starting in 40 degree weather. I haven't been wearing long pants during my morning commute for a couple weeks, but the morning in Santa Fe is not quite so warm...
